Moving Day is Here

IMG_1217We are moving … in with Rodrigo’s aunt and uncle and two cousins!  They graciously offered us a couple of bedrooms and we accepted.  This summer we’ll be in the thick of building a house and decided to reduce costs and move closer to the land.  By moving in with family, we accomplish both objectives.

The picture above is Emma with cousin Daniela, and Aunt Marcela.  I’m sure you’ll be seeing many more pictures – communal living here we come!

We fly out on the 30th for Seattle via Santiago, and Atlanta.  Should be good traveling.  I am going straight to Starbucks in Atlanta to purchase a grande vanilla latte.  I intend to savor every sip.

Pray for us this weekend as we move furniture, finish packing up boxes, and prepare for our adventures in Seattle.  The kids are on count down mode… they can’t wait to see their cousins and friends, and aunts and uncles and grandparents.  And they can’t wait to buy graham crackers, goldfish, go to Red Robin, and buy licorice.  They each have a list.  Isn’t amazing what food does to us?  We love what we know.

More soon and Much Much Love,

Tina

I'm Tina. I'm the author of As Waters Gone By and An Ordinary Love. I'm a mom to two gorgeous kids. I love to read. I'm also utterly convinced that stories transform our lives. When we tell the stories of our hearts, we become more fully human.
