On November 5, 2013

As Waters Gone By is going to be available on November 5, 2013!  Goodness gracious, it’s been a long wait.

A few weeks ago my editor, Kat O’Shea – editor extraordinaire – and I had a long email chat, back and forth, back and forth and decided to make some changes.  Originally, As Waters Gone By was coming out as an ebook and then after a bit, it would go to print.  Leap Books decided to make it a print book first and then after a couple of months it will come out as an ebook.

I couldn’t be happier with this change.

And because of this change, it makes sense for me to do a book tour.  So, I’ll be in the Northwest for the month of November.  The kids are thrilled.  Over-the-moon thrilled, writing lists of all the people they want to see and all the food they intend to eat when they are back in Seattle, thrilled.  I have my own lists.  I will be going to Starbucks and Barnes and Nobles.  Many. Many. Times.  If only to smell the books and the coffee and to relish in the environment.

I’ll be posting updates and book signings and all that fun stuff over the next couple of months and I would love love love to speak or talk or sign somewhere near you … if you are somewhere in the Northwest.

Thank you for your support.  Let me know if you have any ideas or want to help me make contacts with people or bookstores or schools or radios.  As Waters Gone By is a Young Adult book and I’d love to do school visits and talk to teens about writing, about creativity, about hope, about empathy – which is why literature is so powerful and why books have the potential to make such an incredible impact in our hearts and lives.  I can also talk about living in Chile.

Much Love and more soon!
