You know the saying … A picture is worth a thousand words. I’ve been meaning to post some pictures of our lives here, what it’s like, what we’re doing and instead of my usual Fragments, I decided to post some today. I’ll write more later this week. We went to a friend’s farm last weekend…
Life in Chile
Reining in the Family
We went to the National Reining Championship this last weekend in a city called Chillan. It just so happens that Rodrigo’s uncle lives there and we stayed at his house. It was such a fun weekend… Reining is an international sport – with horses. It’s super fun. I grew up around horses and so when…
A Beautiful Vineyard
This is Maria Victoria – she started this vineyard a few years ago. Her wine sells for about $40.00 a bottle. She was a wonderful host and incredibly inspiring. I visited four vineyards on Friday … these pictures are from the first one. I’ll write more tomorrow, but wanted to post a taste of my…
Life in Chile
Feeding Time! Emma loves to brush her pony – and he needs a lot of brushing. Empanadas are probably my favorite Chilean food and we found the place, the small restaurant that makes them to perfection. For less than $2.00 I can eat one of these and be in heaven during each bite. When I…

Neighbors

Till the Cows Come Home
They are slow, I’ll give you that, but they do make it home. Whatever your pace, as long as you are getting where you are supposed to be going … you’ll make it. Have a wonderful Friday. Much love, Tina
Eight Years Old
Dear Lucas, I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with you. Emma was taking a nap and the test came out positive. I had no idea I wanted a son. I had no idea it was time to give Emma a little brother. But God knew it was time for you to…
Vacations and Friendship
I’m off in Pucon staying at a friend’s house, having the time of my life – doing absolutely nothing. We sleep in till late in the morning, eat breakfast, lay by the water, take the kids out on the lake in the afternoon, eat some more, and then talk late into the night. I’m full…
On Vacation
I’m staying at my friend’s house this week – I will write tomorrow and post some pictures. Have a good afternoon. Much love, Tina
